WILD GOD FALL 2026

THE LIGHT: OCTOBER 2,3,4 - Anderson, IN

An immersive, Christ-centered wilderness gathering designed to help you step away from the noise and meet God where He often speaks most clearly.

Worship under open skies. Gospel-centered teaching. Intentional time in God’s Creation.

WILD GOD exists to help people encounter Jesus and grow deeper in relationship with Him through time in God’s Creation.

This event is not a conference. It’s an invitation to slow down, listen, and be renewed.

What is WILD GOD?

WILD GOD is a multi-day, Christ-centered gathering rooted in Scripture, worship, community, and experiential learning in the outdoors.

Throughout the Bible, God repeatedly met His people in the wilderness. Away from distraction, hearts were shaped, faith was strengthened, and dependence on Him was restored.

WILD GOD creates intentional space for that kind of encounter today.

What to expect.

  • Submerged in Creation

Surround yourself with the awe-inspiring beauty and majesty of God’s wilderness. This setting serves as a foundation for spiritual renewal, transformation, and connection.

  • Worship

Experience powerful worship under the open sky—at an outdoor stage by day and around campfires by night. Sing praises under the stars, surrounded by the wonder of Creation.

  • Outdoor Workshops

Dive into hands-on workshops throughout the weekend. From activities like tree identification and "Worshipful Tea" to fire-starting and insect adventures for kids, these workshops help participants marvel at God’s Creation while fostering a spirit of worship.

  • Solitude

Take intentional time to be alone with God through guided devotions crafted to connect you with His presence in the wild. Slow down, reflect, and listen to His still, small voice in the quiet.

  • Fellowship

Build community with like-minded individuals who share a love for the outdoors and a desire to deepen their faith. Exchange stories, skills, and testimonies in an encouraging environment.

  • Featured Speakers

Hear from 4 inspiring speakers as they share their testimonies and insights on how God speaks and transforms lives in the wilderness.

WILD GOD is for:

  • People seeking deeper faith and clarity

  • Families who want to experience God together

  • Believers longing for quiet, rest, and renewal

  • Anyone who senses God meets them most clearly in Creation

You do not need outdoor experience.
You do not need special gear.
You only need a willingness to step away and seek Him.

Event Schedule

Saturday Night Feature:
A Feast Under the Stars

One of the most unforgettable moments of the WILD GOD event will be our Fire Roasted Pulled MKONO pork or Fire Roasted (locally raised-Farm) Pulled Chicken, a night of feasting and fellowship under the open sky. Hosted in the heart of the meadow, long tables will be set beneath the stars, creating the perfect setting to gather, connect, and reflect on the wonders of Creation.

We’ve partnered with MKONO Farm, a local Indiana farm dedicated to sustainable, 100% certified pasture-raised Kunekune heritage pork. MKONO Farm will bring an incredible farm-to-table dining experience to our guests. Jason and Amanda Hand, the passionate owners of MKONO Farm, believe in the importance of ethical, regenerative farming, raising their Kunekune pigs with care—free from GMOs, hormones, and antibiotics. Their commitment to stewardship aligns perfectly with the mission of WILD GOD, making this meal not only delicious but deeply meaningful.

The Wild God Menu

Fire Roasted Pulled MKONO pork or Fire Roasted (locally raised-Farm) Pulled Chicken – Slow-roasted to perfection for melt-in-your-mouth pulled pork or pulled chicken sammies
Farm-Crafted Coleslaw – Fresh, crisp, and full of flavor
Slow-Cooker Green Beans – Hearty and seasoned just right
Farm-Crafted Hash Brown Casserole – A rich and comforting favorite
Buns – Locally made buns…the perfect pairing for the pulled pork

Every WILD GOD attendee has a seat at this special meal, where we’ll break bread together, share stories from the days workshops and solitude time, and celebrate God’s provision in the great outdoors. This isn’t just a meal—it’s a sacred moment of gratitude, community, and connection.

Come hungry. Leave filled—body, heart, and soul.

By the end of the workshop, each student will walk away with their own handcrafted stone arrowhead and a deeper appreciation for the skill, patience, and craftsmanship required to create primitive tools.

Along the way, Drew will share how God hardwired provision into creation—even in the rocks beneath our feet—and how the flintknapping process serves as a powerful picture of Christ shaping and refining our lives for His purposes.

As each bracelet slowly takes shape through a series of simple knots, kids will also discover an important truth: God created every single one of us uniquely and intentionally.

Through fun conversation and creativity, children will explore how no two bracelets turn out exactly the same—just like no two people are exactly alike. God designed each of us with unique gifts, personalities, talents, and purposes to serve Him in different ways.

This workshop combines creativity, friendship, and faith in a memorable experience that reminds kids they are wonderfully made by their Creator.

    Kids will leave with:

From uncovering ancient-looking artifacts to learning how archaeologists carefully search for clues from the past, this workshop is all about curiosity, patience, and adventure.

Billy loves inspiring kids to ask questions, get their hands dirty, and imagine the stories hidden beneath their feet — one careful discovery at a time.

Workshop Title: Gemstone & Fossil Dig

Step into the sand pit and dig into a hands-on adventure where kids become treasure hunters for the day! In this exciting workshop, children will use sifters to uncover real gemstones and fossils—stunning pieces of God’s buried art, hidden just beneath the surface.

  • Inspired Worship Painting with Sarah Stewart

Worship isn't limited to music—it can be expressed through every gift God has given us.

During this unique worship experience, Sarah Stewart uses her artistic talents as an act of praise, creating a live painting in real time as worship music fills the air. Guided by prayer, Scripture, and the movement of the Holy Spirit, Sarah transforms a blank canvas into a powerful visual expression of worship before the audience's eyes.

As the painting unfolds throughout the worship set, attendees will witness not only the creation of a beautiful piece of art, but also a living demonstration of what it looks like to surrender one's gifts and talents to the Lord. Many are amazed at what can emerge when creativity becomes an offering of praise.
