At Wild God, we believe that the wilderness was God’s original sanctuary — the place where He first walked and talked with His creation. From Eden to Exodus to Jesus’ forty days in the desert, Scripture shows us that God often calls His people into the wilderness to teach, refine, and restore them.
Wild God exists to give people that same opportunity: to draw closer to the Lord through time spent marveling and worshiping in His creation. Led by wilderness survival instructor and author Creek Stewart, Wild God bridges biblical truth with hands-on survival experiences to reveal what some call “a theology of wilderness survival.”
Whether through devotionals and Bible studies or immersive Wild God Courses and Events, participants learn to see the wilderness not as a place of scarcity but as a sanctuary of abundance — a place where every rock, plant, and flame declares the glory of a Wild God who provides, sustains, and calls us to life in Him.
Our mission is simple: to help people encounter the Creator in the sanctuary of His creation — to trade distraction for wonder, comfort for courage, and isolation for intimacy with the One who made it all.
