THE 40-DAY WILD GOD RHYTHM JOURNAL
This is a 40-Day Journal that goes with the WILD GOD 40-Day Rhythm found here: https://www.wildgod.org/40-day-wild-god-rhythm
Christ-Centered Rule of Life for the Wild and Ordinary Days
IMPORTANT: This journal is designed exclusively to accompany the FREE 40-Day Wild God Rhythm available at WILDGOD.org. It is not a standalone devotional or guided study.
A Daily Rhythm for Surrendered, Attentive, Obedient Living
The 40-Day Wild God Rhythm is not a challenge to complete or a checklist to perfect. It is a Christ-centered rule of life—a simple, repeatable daily rhythm that trains ordinary people to live surrendered, attentive, and obedient lives under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
This journal exists to support that rhythm.
It is for those who sense that faith must move beyond inspiration and into daily formation—into the quiet, faithful ordering of ordinary life under Christ.
What This Journal Is
This journal is a practical companion for the 40-Day Wild God Rhythm. It provides structured space to slow down, listen, reflect, and respond to God each day as you walk through the rhythm alongside the free online experience.
It prioritizes:
• Faithfulness over intensity
• Consistency over hype
• Obedience over emotional experience
When practiced daily, this rhythm cultivates attentiveness to God and creates space for deep, lasting spiritual transformation.
The Governing Rule
Jesus Christ is Lord.
Every area of life—time, work, body, relationships, resources—is intentionally placed under His authority through daily surrender, Scripture, prayer, obedience, and reflection.
The wildness of this rhythm does not come from location or adventure.
It comes from obedience.
It comes from surrender.
It comes from a life yielded fully to God.
The Daily Rhythm (Practiced the Same Way for All 40 Days)
Each day follows the same Christ-centered structure. Only the Scripture focus changes.
1. Consecration – Lordship Before Motion
Each day begins with deliberate surrender before responsibilities and distractions.
2. Word – Truth Before Opinion
Scripture is read slowly, attentively, and obediently—not for information, but for transformation.
3. Prayer & Worship – Affection and Dependence
Prayer and worship keep the heart engaged, responsive, and grounded in reliance on God.
4. Solitude – Attention Before Distraction
Daily intentional stillness creates space for God to speak, refine, and form.
5. Reflection & Gratitude – Release Before Rest
Each day closes with reflection, gratitude, and release into God’s care.
A Realistic Commitment for Real Lives
This rhythm is designed for working adults, parents, and leaders, not monks or retreat settings.
Approximate daily time commitment:
• Morning: 30–45 minutes
• Solitude: 10–30 minutes
• Evening: 10 minutes
The 40-Day Journey
• Days 1–7 — Surrender: Stop negotiating. Start yielding.
• Days 8–14 — Rooted: Move from effort to reliance.
• Days 15–21 — Ordered: Allow Jesus to reorder the ordinary.
• Days 22–28 — Sent: Let surrender produce faithful movement.
• Days 29–40 — Established: Turn a 40-day practice into a lifelong rhythm.
If you have joined the FREE 40-Day Wild God Rhythm at WILDGOD.org, this journal will serve as a faithful companion—helping you slow down, listen well, and walk out a Christ-centered life in both the wild and ordinary days.
